Consistent, continually improving quality is the goal, not just a paper trail. ISO 9001 gives that a framework; SCG helps you meet the intent behind it, not just the paperwork.
SCG supports clients to design, improve and review quality management systems, process controls and governance arrangements. Engagements span ISO 9001 implementation support, gap analysis, internal audits, process audits, supplier and contractor assurance, corrective action effectiveness reviews and management review uplift.
SCG has delivered ISO 9001 and QMS work across manufacturing, multi-site service operations, government, defence, construction and contractor-intensive environments, including supplier audit programs and audit-readiness reviews. Where independent confirmation is required, SCG also provides process audits, internal audits and evidence-based reporting suitable for governance, certification and procurement scrutiny.
SCG supports ISO 9001 and quality management engagements across:
Particular expertise is applied in multi-site and supplier-intensive environments, where process consistency, handover discipline and corrective action effectiveness require structured verification to confirm that quality controls are operating as intended.
Engagement outputs are structured to support compliance, governance and assurance. Depending on scope, deliverables typically include:
No certification body conflict — SCG conducts independent internal audits and process reviews without any commercial relationship with your certification body
Specialist experience in ISO 9001 internal audits, process audits and supplier assurance
Multi-site and contractor program capability
Integrated capability across quality, WHS, environmental, food safety and water quality obligations
QMS audit and process review outputs structured for certification body readiness, procurement due diligence and executive governance — not just register completion
Direct access to senior practitioners, with no handoff layers
An ISO 9001 internal audit typically includes a defined scope and criteria (ISO 9001 requirements and the organisation’s internal QMS processes), review of objective evidence, process verification through sampling and interviews, and a report with risk-prioritised findings and actions. Evidence traceability is provided where audit defensibility and scrutiny require it.
A gap analysis identifies what is missing against ISO 9001 requirements at the design level and helps prioritise an implementation plan. An internal audit assesses whether the QMS and underlying processes are implemented and operating effectively. Many organisations use a gap analysis to build the roadmap, then internal audits to verify implementation and sustain performance.
SCG focuses on evidence of process performance and control operation, including workflow handovers, records quality, rework drivers, corrective action quality and management review effectiveness, rather than documentation volume alone. Where systems are overly complex, requirements are simplified so that responsibilities and key process controls are clearer, easier to apply and easier to verify.
Effective corrective action addresses root causes, is implemented with clear accountabilities and timeframes, and is verified for effectiveness over time rather than simply closed in a register. The relevant evidence is whether the change held: reduced recurrence, improved process controls, and updated training, interfaces or governance where required.
Supplier and contractor audits focus on the controls that matter in practice: requirements flow-down, process capability, change management, non-conformance handling, evidence quality and corrective action effectiveness. For supply chain programs, the emphasis is consistency: what is standardised across suppliers, what varies by site or service line, and where verification and governance controls require strengthening.
Common triggers include rapid growth, multiple sites, acquisitions, repeated non-conformances, customer complaints, supply chain change, major process or technology change, or preparation for certification or surveillance audits. A structured review helps determine whether the QMS remains fit for purpose, is being applied consistently, and is supported by practical governance and assurance. Call to Action (Quality)
